Gas Preheater
The GVW 250 gas preheater is designed for use with gas cylinders and cylinder bundles.
The use of a gas preheater effectively prevents reductions in flow rate and possible interruptions to the production process.
The GVW 250 provides efficient heating of highly compressed inert and non-corrosive gases. By heating the gas before expansion, it helps prevent icing of downstream equipment, regulators and connections. Reliable continuous operation is ensured through a dual temperature control system that protects against overheating.
The gas preheater is particularly suitable for applications involving argon, carbon dioxide (CO₂), nitrous oxide, oxygen and nitrogen, where icing may occur due to expansion cooling in cylinders or gas distribution systems.
Supplied with:
- 2 m power cable with 230 V connection
- Connections for various gas types
- Green LED indicator for “Heating ON”
Maintenance
Periodic visual inspection should be carried out to check for external damage or contamination. Repairs and maintenance shall be performed by the manufacturer.
