TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

The Company processes the following data about you as a contact person at a business customer or as a sole trader:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Purchase history (consumers and sole traders)
  • Call history
  • Personal identity number (sole traders)

Please note that purchase history data relating to contact persons at business customers is linked to the business customer and not to you as an individual.

WHAT DOES THE COMPANY USE YOUR DATA FOR?

Customer administration

Your personal data is processed so that the Company can administer your orders (or orders from the company you represent) and handle returns, warranty claims and other customer administration.

The legal basis is that the processing is necessary for the Company to perform its contract with you as a consumer or sole trader.

If you are a contact person at a business customer, the processing is based on a legitimate interest, namely the Company’s interest in being able to fulfil its rights and obligations under the contract with the business customer.

Direct marketing

If you are a contact person at a business customer or a sole trader, the Company processes your email address in order to send you marketing.

The marketing is directed at the company you represent and is based on goods or services previously purchased that we consider relevant to your professional activities.

Marketing may be sent for up to five years after your most recent purchase.

Newsletters and marketing emails are only sent if you have not objected to such marketing. You can unsubscribe from newsletters and marketing emails at any time.

To unsubscribe, please contact the Company at:
info@gasiq.se

The marketing is based on a legitimate interest, namely the Company’s interest in marketing its products.

Personalised direct marketing to consumers (with consent)

The Company would also like to be able to send you, as a consumer, offers by email that we believe may be of particular interest to you based on your previous purchases from the Company.

If you would like to receive such offers, you need to give your consent via the consent form on our website.

If you give such consent, the Company will store your purchase history and email address in order to send you targeted marketing offers.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting the Company at:
info@gasiq.se

Withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the consent was withdrawn.

WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH?

The Company may transfer your personal data to system providers.

These recipients may only process your personal data on behalf of the Company and in connection with providing services to the Company, such as delivering ordered goods or sending marketing and newsletters.

The Company takes all reasonable legal, technical and organisational measures to ensure that your data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection when transferred to or shared with such third parties.

The Company may also disclose your personal data to public authorities, such as the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket), if we are required to do so by law.

If all or part of the Company’s business is sold, personal data may be transferred to a potential buyer.

TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EU/EEA

Your personal data is processed only within the EU/EEA.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

Your personal data is processed for as long as necessary for the Company to administer the purchase and any returns.

If a warranty period applies, your contact details and purchase history are kept for the duration of the warranty period so that the Company can fulfil its warranty obligations.

If you have not objected to newsletters and marketing emails, your email address is kept:

  • for up to 12 months after your most recent purchase if you are a consumer
  • for up to 5 years after your most recent purchase if you are a contact person at a company

If you, as a consumer, have consented to the Company storing your purchase history and email address for targeted marketing, this data is kept for the period stated in the consent.

If the Company becomes aware that you have left your employment with a business customer or have otherwise ceased to be a contact person, your data will be deleted.

The Company may keep personal data for a longer period if required to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
